1. The Event
Hello Space is a free annual national youth SPACE & STEAM festival organised by Atlantic Club of Bulgaria (Non-profit Association) and the STEAM and Space Cluster Bulgaria. The next edition (Hello Space 6.0) takes place on 26 June 2026 at Sofia Tech Park (Innovation Forum “John Atanasoff”), Sofia, Bulgaria. Admission is free of charge.
2. Ticket Registration
- Free tickets can be reserved via the registration form on hello-space.eu using our ticketing plugin. Data collected: full name, email address, phone number.
- Tickets are personal and non-transferable.
- By registering, you confirm that all information is accurate and that you accept these Terms.
- Minors under 16 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian, who thereby accepts these Terms on the child’s behalf.
- A confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at registration.
- Ticket availability is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. Workshops & Activities
- Specific workshops require separate advance registration (via the activities registration platform linked on the website).
- Workshop places are limited. Registration does not guarantee a place unless confirmed.
- If you cannot attend a booked workshop, please notify the registration desk on the day to free your place for another participant.
4. Cancellation & Changes
- The event is free; no refunds apply.
- Registrations may be cancelled by the participant at any time by contacting info@hello-space.eu.
- The organisers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or materially change the event programme at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, speaker cancellations, force majeure, or safety concerns.
- In the event of full cancellation, registered participants will be notified by email.
5. Conduct
By attending, all participants (and parents/guardians on behalf of minors) agree to:
- Treat all other participants, staff, volunteers, speakers, and venue personnel with respect
- Follow instructions from festival staff and security personnel
- Refrain from damaging venue property or equipment
- Not disrupt presentations, workshops, or demonstrations
- Comply with Sofia Tech Park’s site rules and safety regulations
The organisers may remove any person who violates these standards without prior warning where safety is at risk.
6. Child Supervision
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times during the festival.
- Children aged 14–17 may attend independently but must have been registered by a parent/guardian.
- Workshop leaders are not responsible for general supervision outside their workshop sessions.
- The organisers accept no responsibility for unaccompanied minors.
7. Liability
- The organisers accept no liability for personal injury, theft, or property damage at the event, except where caused by our proven negligence.
- The organisers are not responsible for technical failures (ISS downlink, live video connections, streaming), which depend on factors outside our control.
- Participation in science demonstrations is voluntary; participants must follow safety instructions provided by demonstrators.
- Content presented by guest speakers represents the views of those speakers, not of the organisers.
8. Intellectual Property — Competition Entries
- Competition entries (artwork, essays, projects) remain the intellectual property of their creators.
- By submitting an entry, participants (or parents/guardians for minors) grant the organisers a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and promote the entry on the festival website, social media, press materials, and future event promotion — subject to consent.
- This licence may be withdrawn by contacting info@hello-space.eu.
- Participants will always be credited by first name and school.
9. Media
The festival is filmed and may be broadcast live on BNT, BTV, Nova TV, and social media. See the Photo & Video Consent Policy for how participant images are handled.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Bulgarian courts in Sofia.
