On June 24, 2025, HELLO SPACE | Bulgaria Calling celebrates its fifth anniversary edition, which becomes the largest to date. The festival attracts over 2,300 visitors, establishing itself as the leading youth STEAM event in Bulgaria.
For the first time in the initiative’s history, two astronauts are participating in the program. Students have the opportunity for a virtual meeting with Sunita Williams, who talks about her latest mission to the International Space Station, as well as with Eitan Stibe, a participant in Axiom Space’s historic Ax-1 mission.
The anniversary edition expands the format with new themed zones and activities – a “Health Corner,” VR experiences, interdisciplinary workshops, interactive lectures, and outdoor activities. The program includes over 50 booths, more than 20 lectures, and over 15 workshops, sports and dance sessions, as well as special formats such as “Space Elevator,” where young talents present their scientific achievements.
With its fifth edition, HELLO SPACE | Bulgaria Calling clearly demonstrates its evolution – from an inspiring educational festival to an established national platform that connects Bulgarian youth directly with the leading figures and the future of global science and space.
