HELLO SPACE | Bulgaria Calling 3.0

On June 29, 2023, HELLO SPACE | Bulgaria Calling reaches its third edition and establishes  the festival as Bulgaria’s leading STEAM platform for youth. The event takes place at Sofia Tech Park and is organized by the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria in partnership with the National Space & STEAM Cluster, with the support of NASA and the U.S. Embassy in Bulgaria.

Under the motto “Ahead of  the Future!”, the festival expands its scope – with two stages, over 50 activities, and a record number of partnerships with 33 Bulgarian and international organizations. A key highlight is the live video connection with Dr. Swati Mohan, Guidance and Control Lead for the Mars 2020 mission, who inspires students with her professional journey. Young people also have the opportunity to speak with Gregory Johnson, a test pilot at Lockheed Martin.

The program includes a virtual tour of CERN, a demonstration flight by world record holder Nikolay Kalaydzhiev, demonstrations by the Bulgarian Army’s Special Forces, as well as inspiring lectures by Bulgarian and international experts.
