HELLO SUN
A Special Edition of “HELLO SPACE”
“HELLO SUN” was a special collaborative edition organized together with Ratio and Muzeiko, with Nova TV as media partner. The occasion was the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, broadcasted live via NASA’s official stream.
The event took place at the John Atanasoff Innovation Forum, Sofia Tech Park, bringing together scientists and the public around the topic of the Sun, the Moon, and their impact on Earth. Prof. Kamen Kozarev, Prof. Diana Gergova, and Ventsislav Krumov presented scientific and cultural perspectives on eclipses – from solar activity to the significance of the Sun for life on Earth. At the same time, Muzeiko offered interactive space activities for children.
“HELLO SUN” expands on the format of HELLO SPACE beyond the festival days and demonstrates how the initiative responds to global astronomical events, transforming them into an accessible scientific experience for a wide audience.
