1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences, and provide usage data to the website operator. Some cookies are strictly necessary; others require your consent under the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR.
2. Cookies and Scripts Used on This Website
The following tracking technologies are active on hello-space.eu:
Category A — Strictly Necessary
Required for the website to function. No consent needed.

Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Only set after the user accepts marketing cookies in the consent modal.
Category D — Third-Party Embedded Content
|
YouTube (VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, YSC, yt-player-*) |
Set when embedded YouTube videos are loaded or played. Google may use these to personalise ads on other sites. Retention: varies (session to 6 months). Provider: Google LLC, USA. |
Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). YouTube embeds are loaded only after the user accepts functional/marketing cookies, OR the site uses privacy-enhanced YouTube embed mode (youtube-nocookie.com) which defers cookie setting until play.
The website uses standard YouTube embeds (youtube.com), which load on page visit. YouTube and Google cookies from Category D are therefore set as soon as a page containing an embedded video is loaded — regardless of whether the visitor presses play. These cookies are only set after the visitor has accepted Category C/D cookies in the consent modal. If your consent management tool does not currently block YouTube iframes from loading before consent is given, this must be implemented as a technical fix to ensure compliance.
3. Cookie Consent Modal
A cookie consent modal is displayed on first visit. Users can:
- Accept all — enables Categories B, C, and D
- Accept only necessary — only Category A cookies are set
- Manage preferences — individual toggles per category
Consent preferences are stored and can be updated at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the website footer. Consent is re-requested if the cookie policy materially changes.
4. How to Control Cookies via Your Browser
- Google Chrome: Settings › Privacy and security › Cookies
- Mozilla Firefox: Options › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences › Privacy › Manage Website Data
- Microsoft Edge: Settings › Cookies and site permissions
Disabling necessary cookies may prevent some website functions from working correctly.
5. Updates to This Policy
This Cookie Policy will be updated whenever new scripts are added or existing ones change. The effective date at the top will be revised accordingly, and the consent modal will re-prompt users for any material changes.
