HELLO SPACE | Bulgaria Calling 2.0

On September 13, 2022, the second edition of HELLO SPACE | Bulgaria Calling took place at Sofia Tech Park – a natural continuation and expansion of the 2021 initiative. The event was organized by the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria and the National Space & STEAM Cluster, with the support of NASA and the U.S. Embassy in Bulgaria.

Under the motto “Let’s Fly Higher, Dive Deeper, and Climb New Peaks,” the festival expanded its focus toward STEAM education and global science.

Highlights included a meeting with Dr. Anna Fisher, NASA’s first mother-astronaut, and a virtual tour of CERN. Amongst the key participants are bulgarian scientists and entrepreneurs working on real space and quantum projects, alongside a demonstration flight by world record holder Nikolay Kalaydzhiev.
